*IMPORTANT* To help you better understand and answer the questions of the Declaration of Marriage Status , I suggest you first read this free eBook.  How To Be Free and Achieve True Marital Happiness Before any marriage can be restored, the people in it need to be healed. In other words, they need inner healing and godly guidance and wisdom to be able to heal. (Psalm 73:23,24) This exercise will give you the starting point for that healing so you can begin to understand and love the person you are and can become, and have better relationships with others!  

Taking care of YOU first is what heals marriage.

1. Who am I?

A. Who am I?  (who are you in relation to God)

 

B. With whom or what do I put my faith and trust? I give my life to? 

 

c. What is my purpose for my marriage according to who I am? (your purpose for marriage is part of who you are) 

 

 

2.   What is my position/responsibilities in marriage 
according to who I am and my purpose?

A. What is my position (responsibilities) in my marriage?  

 

B. How does your position help your spouse meet/experience their position?

 

c. What can I do to live out God's purpose for my marriage? (be that person - be who you are)

 

D.  Whom or what do I trust in to direct the course of my marriage? I trust in: 

 

Who are you? Where are you going with your marriage/life? Why are you going? Find it, seek it, acknowledge it and go after it with gusto! "Seek and you shall find, knock and the door shall be opened to you". (Matthew 7:7)
